HBOT ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL
Hyperbaric Vermont is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to raise awareness of the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and to make this life-changing treatment accessible. We are proud of the impact we are having in our community. Please take a look at our 2020 Impact Report pdf.
Last year, even being closed for part of the pandemic, Hyperbaric Vermont gave 805 treatments and treated 62 new patients. Hyperbaric Vermont’s mission is to make this therapy accessible to all and every treatment is subsidized. Last year we gifted $11,704 in fully subsidized care. We also worked with other medical professionals to extend our mission by completing 4 Provider Training sessions and adopting 3 Affiliates whose intention aligns with Hyperbaric Vermont; by committing to keep hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment affordable.
The patients are coming…but only if they are ambulatory. Currently, our chambers are not able to accommodate wheelchairs and we are forced to turn wheelchair-bound patients away. It is time for us to truly provide this life changing treatment to all! This is a project that is close to our hearts – to provide accessible HBOT this year in South Burlington, and to make it available in our Montpelier facility in 2022.
Can you chip in and help us purchase a wheelchair accessible chamber? A wheelchair accessible HBOT chamber and oxygen concentrator is $14,970. Any donation that you are able to provide is appreciated – we are grateful for your donation and hope you will share this with those you love.
Special thanks to our Business Sponsor:
Thank you to Robert Fleming & Jane Howe Patrick Foundation Inc. for their generous support of our Wheelchair Accessible Chamber campaign.
Thank you for your generosity and for sharing this campaign with others.
SPECIAL UPDATE! We are only $800 shy of our fundraising goal! Thanks to generous supporters we have the chamber and now we need the final $800 for the oxygen concentrator to accompany it. Can you chip in and help?
